Just a couple of miles from Weymouth’s town centre, you’ll find Littlesea Holiday Park sat facing westward over Fleet Lagoon. It means we get an amazing sunset from our bar and restaurant terrace as the sun gradually sinks behind Chesil beach.
All the holiday homes we have here are arranged around a shallow valley that naturally funnels everyone’s attention towards the salty lagoon beside our park. Many of the static caravans we have for sale here have their own great views across the water but all are within a few minutes’ walk of the lagoon and the coastal path that runs alongside it.
All of our sports, leisure and dining facilities are located in the middle of the valley too and everything is safely tucked inside a secure family fun area so you don’t have to worry about younger family members toddling off too far. We’ve got a couple of play areas here plus a multi-sports court, archery range, two tennis courts and a devilishly tricky adventure golf course that kids and grown-ups alike simply love. Beyond that we have a small meadow and conservation area that’s ideal for family picnics; or you can take a hamper with you as you set off around the coastal path.
We find that people want to buy caravan holiday homes around here for number of reasons. Many love the lagoon-side walks by our park, whilst others like that we’re so close to the sandy beach at Weymouth and the great watersports facilities around the bay there. Most just like coming to our family friendly little park, and of course it helps that Chesil beach (and the lagoon it bottles up) form one of the most outstanding features of the Jurassic Coast.
Our location is such that many of the holiday homes we have for sale have lovely views across the valley, over the lagoon or even both in some spots. The wide range of caravans you can buy here means that we’ve almost certainly got just the model that’ll suit your budget whilst offering you all the mod-cons you could want.
You’ve only got to make the quick trip over to Weymouth to find the nearest sandy beach here and the seafront is peppered with traditional fish and chip shops and ice-cream parlours. The wind and water conditions here are perfect for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing; so if you like the idea of trying out some exciting watersports, just seek out one of the many places nearby that’ll teach you how to get started.
There are plenty of places to go on family days out too, like Weymouth’s Sea Life Adventure Park, Abbotsbury Children’s Farm, Bovington Tank Museum and the extra cheap Plaza Cinema in Dorchester.
"We love Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. Our caravan lets us explore lots of different walks for the dog! We also enjoy quality time with friends who we invite down, and with our children and grandchildren."
